How to Request Account Deletion

You can delete your GameFlex account and associated data in two ways:

Method 1: In-App Deletion

The easiest way to delete your account is directly through the GameFlex app:

Open the GameFlex app on your device
Go to Settings or Profile
Select Account Settings
Choose Delete Account
Confirm your request

Your account will be deleted immediately, and your data will be removed from our systems.

Method 2: Email Request

If you need additional assistance or have questions, contact us:

Send an email to info@gameflex.io with:

Your GameFlex username or email address
A clear statement that you want to delete your account
Any additional context if needed

We'll process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.

Data Retention & Timeline

Immediate (0 days)

Your account is deactivated and becomes inaccessible. Your profile is hidden from other users.

Within 30 Days

All personal data is permanently deleted from our primary systems. You'll receive a confirmation email.

Within 90 Days

Backup copies containing your data are automatically purged from our backup systems.

This Action is Permanent

Account deletion cannot be undone. Once deleted, your username becomes permanently unavailable, and all your data will be lost.

Content Posted by Others

Content that other users have posted, including comments or mentions of you, will remain on the platform. We cannot delete content created by other users.

Legal Compliance

We may retain certain data for legal, tax, or regulatory compliance purposes as required by law. This data is kept secure and separate from your account.

Can I recover my account after deletion?

No, account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, your account and all associated data cannot be recovered. If you change your mind, you'll need to create a new account.

How long does deletion take?

Your account is deactivated immediately. Complete deletion from all systems takes up to 30 days. Backup copies are removed within 90 days.

Will my username be available again?

No, your username is permanently reserved and cannot be used by anyone else, even after deletion.

What about my gaming account connections?

All connections to third-party gaming accounts (Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, etc.) are disconnected and removed from our systems.

Will I receive a confirmation?

Yes, we'll send a confirmation email to your registered email address once your account deletion is complete.

What if I have outstanding transactions?

Transaction records are retained for legal and tax compliance purposes. Your account deletion doesn't affect any pending refunds or disputes.
